WORKSHOP
Who can benefit from an intensive workshop?
The workshop can benefit anyone who wants to understand how their childhood impacts them relationally as an adult. If you are currently struggling with any of these issues; self-worth/self-esteem, boundaries, being vulnerable, needing to be perfect, being independent, being codependent, and/or allowing yourself to do things that bring your joy, this workshop is for you!
What is an intensive workshop?
An intensive is a three-day workshop for adults. It has a capacity of three participants, a facilitator and a co- facilitator, in Madison, Wisconsin. The workshop is led by Alison Noyes LCSW, DARTT, who owns Sunrise Counseling and has extensive training in the Healing Our Core Issues Model. During the three days, participants will move through the four phases of the Healing Our Core Issues model which helps them identify and heal the origins of their struggles. They will participate and serve as witnesses to the other participants' process.
Phase 1: Information Stage
Participants will receive education to gain understanding of the Healing Our Core Issues model. This includes information regarding trauma, emotions, and the six core issues.
Phase 2: Debriefing Stage
Participants will explore their past in order to identify less-than-nurturing childhood experiences. Participants will make connections about how those woundings show up in their adult life today.
Phase 3: Experiential Phase
Participants will be guided through a series of specific processes developed by Pia Mellody. These processes allow participants to become relational with their stories and their past. In this safe and nurturing environment, participants will identify and begin to heal childhood wounds, release painful emotions, and reclaim personal power.
Phase 4: Ongoing Recovery and Empowerment Phase
Participants will receive resources and learn skills to continue their healing and integrate their growth into their everyday life.
